Marianna was actually born a man. She had to turn 43 years to finally take the courage not to hide her true self any longer. The subtle narration brought the documentary among others four awards at the 55th Krakow Film Festival.
The teacher Kapcer tries to hide, that he is overhung with the diagnosis of becoming blind. A story, which is based on real events and that despite its dramatic incidents includes a lot of optimistic elements.
In this bizarre yet affectionate animated film we meet a happy loving couple – both of which seem, however, like monsters to us.
