Synopsis

Whether being confronted with the man-made threat to nature in the Arctic or the rain forests, whether experiencing how it feels to be homeless or to live in a refugee camp, whether seeing the world with the eyes of a new-born or an old man – LET’S CEE Film Festival makes it possible. Under the slogan Let’s Open Your Mind the organisers of LET’S CEE present a range of virtual reality films from all over the world in Vienna, and at 4GAMECHANGERS Festival, which acts as a cooperation partner. Thanks to the support of renowned partners such as United Nations, Greenpeace International, Stanford University, USC Shoah Foundation, WIDE, the production company Mimo.ooo and the British daily The Guardian, LET’S CEE sets up two VR lounges at 4GAMECHANGERS Festival in Marx-Halle (18-20 April) as well as at Village Cinema Wien Mitte (21-22 April), showing high-quality, visually powerful, socio-political cinema. On a rotating chair and with a VR headset, 360° cinema makes you the centre of the film so to speak. Fixed starting times for up to 15 visitors guarantee classic cinema like feelings and hopefully a lively exchange about the common experience after the screening. The entrance is free of charge as is the whole short film programme at LET’S CEE. Admission is free*), as well as for all the other short films projections at LET’S CEE Film Festival!

*) The entry to the VR Lounge at the 4GAMECHANGERS Festival is free for all 4GAMECHANGERS visitors.
