Film and workshop for free:

Flapper and Friends

Film discrption: The kids watch the series on TV and then have the opportunity to produce a one minute-animation under the guidance of experts.

On 3rd October, at the Urania theatre and in the Hotel Adagio Vienna City, short films will be screened and three workshops will be held in cooperation with a very well-known Cartoon Film Studio from Poland, Se-ma-for. 1.076 children will be able to find join the event in the theatre free of charge, and 120 of them can take part in one of the three workshops. In the workshops, participating children will watch a movie and afterwards, under the guidance of professionals, create their own one-minute animation film, which will be saved into the archive and available for viewing on the homepage of the LET’S CEE Film Festival. For those who want to register for workshops, please contact education@letsceefilmfestival.com. The registration follows the First-Come-First-Served principle.

 

The main topics of this day are tolerance, diversity and respect. The art-house film The fantastic flower shop and Oscar-winning animation Peter & The Wolf are without any dialogs, which makes them suitable for all children, regardless of their mother language. Afterwards, a ten-minute brake is planned followed by the screening of four episodes of the famous show from Poland - Flapper and Friends. This will be shown in the original version, with German voiceover. The target group are children in the age between five and ten.  Unique: At 11:00, the films Peter & The Wolf and The fantastic flower shop will be screened with a live audio description for blind and visually impaired children.
